The Getac X500 is the first fully equipped, commercially available notebook complying with military standards. It is designed specifically for usage in the hardest of conditions. Thanks to its outstanding interface technology, it is also ideally suited for executing aircraft and motor vehicle inspections. Certified with protection class IP65, it guarantees the greatest protection against moisture, salt and dust, plus its housing is fungus-resistant.

The high-performance Intel Core i5-7440EQ or i7-7820EQ processor, with up to 3.7 GHz with Turbo Boost Technology deliver the best performance, together with the Intel HD graphic media controller. Optionally available is a higher performing graphics card: the NVIDIA GeForce GTX950M, for demanding media applications and special military software. In direct sunlight, rely on the professional presentation of the 1,000 nits display. This 15.6'' full HD display (touch screen optional) delivers pinpoint sharp pictures in widescreen format.

The X500 features many interfaces: integrated into the device is one slot for an Express Card/54, one smart card reader and a multi-media bay for additional capacity, such as an optional second hard drive or second battery. Plus, two serial ports, four USB 3.2, and two Gigabit LAN interfaces, plus one each VGA, HDMI, audio and microphone connections. For optimal communications on the go, rely on the Bluetooth 4.2 and high-power dual-band Wi-Fi (with up to 700 m range). An optional full HD webcam also allows for video conferencing. GPS and a RF antenna pass-through for GPS and Wi-Fi are optionally available.

The pre-installed Windows 10 Professional gives the X500 a flexible basis for a multitude of applications. To keep sensitive data from falling into the wrong hands, the X500 security features (fingerprint reader, theft protection and positioning system) keep your data secure.

The X500 is also available as a Server version, which meets all the requirements of a mobile operations & command center.
